Users can initiate an analysis by running the Scanyp agent from their own machines. Anyone who can access the Scanyp server from their machine can upload the analysis to the server. To restrict server access, you can activate the "Secured Analysis" flag, which ensures that only users with a token can launch the analysis.
Here are the necessary steps to secure your project analysis:
1. Activate the "Secured Analysis" option.
2. Click on Add token to create new token
3. Select "Generate" to produce the token
Important Note: Make sure to copy the token before closing the dialog, as you won't be able to retrieve it once the dialog is closed.
4. Distribute this token to the users so they can register it on their machines by using the command: Scanyp.exe –registerToken [insert generated token here]
With this measure in place, only users who have registered the token will be able to launch the analysis.
